What the app is

Mahfazti is a personal app for organising and keeping images of your own documents on your phone. It is not an official body that issues, certifies or verifies any document, and is no substitute for any government authority.

Your documents never leave your phone

Your documents and their images stay encrypted on this phone and never leave it; we never see, receive or keep any copy of them on any server. For full details on data handling, see our Privacy Policy.

Your documents are your responsibility

You alone are fully responsible for the content, accuracy and legality of the documents you keep. Any illegal use, forgery, impersonation, or any problem arising from what you store is your responsibility alone; neither the app nor its developers bear any liability for it.

Data loss

Because encryption happens on your device and we keep no copy, if you forget both your password and your recovery phrase, or lose or reset your phone, your data is permanently lost and we cannot recover it for you by any means.

Emergency card

The emergency card and its QR code are informational details entered by the user, not an official medical record. Their accuracy and the decision to share them are your responsibility alone.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Neither the app nor its developers are liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from its use or inability to use it, from data loss, or from reliance on any stored or scanned information.

These terms are governed by the laws in force in the Arab Republic of Egypt. We may update these terms from time to time; an update takes effect once published.
